Starting my lotuses inside,and the water is starting to turn a little green,is there something I might add to keep it clear,with out harming my plants?

Is is ok to add peroxide?
If it was me... I wouldnt worry about it. I know it looks unsightly but when they get outside the large leaves will cover the water. I wouldnt take a chance on damaging the plant.

Not sure whether perioxde would hurt the plants or not!
Notice algae strings today,very minor,removed them with a Q-tip!

they sell some thing called rhye balls on e bay it keeps out alge its natural
