Any suggestions for some annuals that bloom lavendar for late August /
I know , Daisyruffles, dahlias are already at the top of the list.
Lavendar flowers in late August.
Lenjo, This is an easy one for me. I have a half a dozen of the lavendar colored Bushy Asters (aster dumosus) Woods Asters. They are wonderful. I bought 3 originally and now we have 7. They are divisible in the fall or spring and they are in bloom from August through November. Incredibly beautiful and the honeybees go crazy for them. Another suggestion is a near lavendar colored Sedum Neon ..... almost a florescent neon red. In August I get all 16 of my Sedums varieties to flower. Sedum is a really hardy plant.
Aster - Wonder of Staffa, maybe more blue than lavender, but beautiful. I saw a picture of an Aster called Hella Lacey on http://www.atstecks.com/ - looked like a nice shade of lavender.
Also, I think Monk's Hood is mid - late Summer.
