Hi all! I´m getting quite a collection of seeds here!! Thanks to the generosity of you lovely Dave’s gardeners!
Just wondering how you all keep track of your seeds, does any of you use excel as an organizer?
keeping track of seeds!
I have all my seeds listed in an spreadsheet like Excel. I list the name of the person and where I got it from to. I also have my seeds organized in containers alphabetically, but with things that are special like cactus/succulents I put them in a seperate container.

Donna, could I be really cheeky and ask for a template, I´ts bad enough mastering word!!

I'll send you mine, too, via e-mail. It's probably more extensive than you need - being way too anal for my own or anyone else's good!
Think some of us should start a new forum for the analy retentive! lol
Hi! Would someone shoot me if I asked to get a copy of your spreadsheet????????????? I would be soooooo grateful!
is there a way to do a spreadsheet in micosoft works program I do not have exel-but trying to get organised
I use Microsoft One Note...you can add a picture anywhere, and type the information about the seed right beside its picture. Kind of like a notebook, so I have different sections for tropicals, cactus, annuals, perennials. The seed picture and info and where I got it.
The Microsoft Works program does have spreadsheet capability. That's what I use at home but since biscombe has the Excel program, I created one for her using Excel I have at work.

And Its great Donna! Thanks :-)))
