And, yes, Kaleem I have tried to root it numerous times and it just won't take! I was hoping to surprise you but no such luck.

They don't, Carol. Maybe I'm better off that they don't!
lol....I think you need to talk to the neighbors about buying their property and taking over some more garden space.
It just so happens we had a large dying maple in the middle of useless lawn and once the stump is out it would be very tempting to start garden #31... or maybe it's #32. If I can't keep track of which garden it would be how can I take care of it? Anyhow, the area is in full sun - all day long!
