I know this is too easy for me to be writing about, but I want to make sure I've got everything down right. In her speech class my dd is having to make something (like a PB&J) in front of the class while telling all of the details in order. I'm not sure of the reasoning behind it for a speech class, but there you go.
I thought it would be easy and fun for her to make the classic Coolwhip lemon pie. She'll need one pre-made graham cracker pie crust, one tub of coolwhip and one small can of frozen lemonade. All she'll have to do is mix the coolwhip and lemonade together and pour it into the pie shell.
My "big" question is, should the lemonade be completely thawed or just this side of thawed so that it has a tiny bit of consistancy? Or, does it matter at all? I haven't made this in years, and when I do make a coolwhip pie I usually just use melted Hershey bars instead of the lemonade. Unfortunately for dd, there will be no heat source for them.
Thanks so much,
Carmen
