Sinus

That old familiar headache...and a little nausea just to make it really a fun day. Actually, I've had the headache on and off for days now. This is an old story. It used to be much worse before I took medications for it. In the past I've been so sick from sinus that I was throwing up for days and the pain was so bad I would have almost anything to end it. I've got it mostly under control now, but it still can make me miserable on occasion. I've been on Flonase and generic Claritin for years. Then last winter my doctor added Singulair. I was sick for 2 months then...I think it was some new allergy, but although it did show some positive allergy results, I tested negative on cedar allergy, so don't know what that was. Last winter was the first time I was really tested for allergies. My doctor ordered the blood test because I was already taking meds for allergies. I didn't know before then that the skin tests aren't any good if you're already taking certain allergy meds. But the usual allergy tests don't really test for many allergies....you can be allergic to many things they don't test for. And there can be false negatives, too. Since allergies and sinus problems have taken over my life to a certain extent, I read up on it.
