Yahoo! My trip to Bluebird's

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

A couple of days ago I was lucky enough to go to Bluebird's Greenhouse and get some new pretties. I am really excited with all of the things that I got. I got Episcias, Streps, and African Violets. I will start with the Streps. The first one is a new one called Episcia Tiger in a hanging basket.

I was told that this is a new one called Streptocarpus Niobe. The flower has wilted because I sat it too close to the heater when I brought it home. But it is a real beauty.

Next are the African Violets. They are all Semiminiatures except for two. This first one is a standard called Lemon Whip. I really like the color of this one.

Oh wow, lucky you. How long of a drive is it to bluebird? I love them all, but the streps are gorgeous. I've been admiring nymph - I notice it every time I'm perusing their website. Thanks for all the pics.

WOW, you brought home some beauties!! I'll bet it was tough to pick & choose.... Glad you had such a fabulous shopping trip! Wheeeeeee!

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

It was tough to pick and choose because they have a lot more at the greenhouse than they advertise on their website. That is why it is so fun to go there. Plus they have 4 inch pots cheaper than anyone else online. I bought a 100 when I was there because I have so many babies to repot. I really do love going to Bluebird's.

Such beautiful plants. What a fun trip for you.

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

I really did have a good time. But now I have 100 4" pots that I have to take babies away from their mommy's and put them all in new pots. I am not really looking forward to that but I know it has to be done. But I will get it done eventually.

Jesse, are you planning on selling on ebay and becoming a millionaire? There are buyers out there as we all well know.

Have fun transplanting.

St Joseph, IL(Zone 5b)

How far are they from Kings Mountain, NC? I have a sister-in-law there.
Laura

I really don't know what I'm going to do with all of them. I haven't thought that far ahead yet.
