Interesting web site

Bill came across this site in the paper today...hopefully I'll do the link right. LOL

I checked it out...the idea of "experimental" sounded good ie: free food and feeders UNTIL I saw that I'd have to forego all my other feeders....not gonna happen. Observer sounded OK except that I'd likely spend all my time chasing away the squirrels...that too is not gonna happen as I do enjoy the furry lil varmits.

Anyway perhaps some of ya'll might like to take part. In any case enjoy feeding and watching the wild birds!!

Looks very interesting and could be a good project for a 'Science Fair Project', too!

There is not much info about who the research scientists are behind the project nor who exactly is interested in the results, but it appears to be funded by contributions from the various Bird Seed processors and packers.

Could be a fun project and a bird watcher could learn a lot if the could commit to the time and effort!
