I am looking to grow a few victoria water lilies this season does anyone have seeds or small plants they will be willing to trade this spring??
Victoria waterlily seeds or plants??
I would LOVE to give these a try if anyone has any or can tell me a reasonable vendor to purchase them from.
I bought mine from American Aquactics on Elysian Fields in N. O. last year and have already ordered mine for this year. D-mail me and I'll be glad to give you the phone #.

jeri; are those tropical only, or would they grow this far North??????
During the summer. The water has to be around 70 degrees. They only last from May to Nov. here. I have no means to over winter them. They are way to big in the fall and with the stickers underneath that are more like barbs. I'm getting another one this spring. I tried on the seeds but they didn't ripen right. The man I get them from said it wouldn't have been the same b/c I could only house one plant. Nothing to pollinate it with. Hope this helps.
