Weight loss Challenge Jan. 28th-Feb.3rd

I will start this thread for leaflady, since just reading her last post made me tired. I'm sure she is still resting. Leaf, I hope you don't mind my horning in on you. :>)

Ok, I saw my personal trainer yesterday and I told her I specifically needed to hear from her what I had to eat and what it totally off limits. She did tell me I was not eating nearly enough protein, so I am to consume 180 grams of protein per day. For 3 days straight I am to be low carb, around 90 or so. Then the 4th day I can have lots of carbs.........no, not cookies and cakes and candy bars...........GOOD CARBS!!! Then 3 days low and 1 day high. I am so determined to really look good at the end of 13 weeks, which is when our first show is. April 28th. Yvonne is so enthusiastic about helping and encouraging, plus she tells it to me straight. I like that. We are also going to get some help from a dance instructor on putting together our posing routine. She said that will be so awesome to have kick-butt routines. She had this gal help her when she did her last show last summer and she said that this gal is great. I can hardly wait, we'll try to get together with her in a couple of weeks. So, folks, I will need all the encouragement I can get here.........you need to be on my butt about it.
