An example of a stress bloom

Here's an example of a stress bloom. Not as big, and not as bright as normal. I'm thankful for any and all blooms I get after the weather madness we had.

This is Autumn Treasure, under stress conditions

Here's what she looked like in the fall, before we turned into the frigid south west.

Good example, Mary.
It's probably as stressed as you were during those cold nights you had. Sure hope you don't get
any more of those cold blasts.

I hope that the weather is going to be better :) My blooms look like this all through the winter. Some of my trees still choosed to bloom, even though the temps is 2-5 *C and they are supposed to sleep.

I just had one of mine do this. It was the first time it has bloomed for me... I was wondering what all the fuss was about with this plant but It must be stress. Very pale color and small. I had no Idea they did this. Thanks for the info!

Wow, Mary, when she isn't stressed she is beautiful! I'm sorry things have been so tough on you all lately. You and all the bruggies are in my prayers. God bless, Margo

Stress blooms - Just minor speed bumps on the road of life!

Today was wonderful. 80 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Spent a couple hours at a nursery stocking up on this and that in anticipation of Spring, then came home and ordered a couple roses on line. Now that's a Saturday I could repeat over and over again!
