We have celebs in our area today and they visited one of the 2 golf courses owned by the company that I work for.
A local family from the Myrtle Beach area was nominated and won an extreme home makeover from extreme makeover--home edition with Ty Pennington. So Ty and the crew are in the area making over a home and visiting areas of interest locally to appear on the show which will air in March.
I went out to run some errnads a little while ago and noticed when I went out that the makeover bus was parked at the restaurant at the end of my street so the crew just had dinner within walking distance from my house.
Cyndi Lauper also has a vaction home just 15 minutes south of here, she visits several tiems a year and a group of us from work have actually met her. There is a small very popular night spot that she goes to and performs some of her songs when shes in town.
