How do we differentiate the above Va. creeper Moth to that of Tersa sphinx moth? Both the caterpillar and moths look very similiar to that of the Tersa. Thanks.

If you look at pics of the two moths side by side you can see the difference. The color patterns are completely different. Go to "Google Photos" and type in Tersa Sphinx Hog Sphinx and it'll bring up both pics.
