Boxer breeding age?

Hi,

I'm new to this forum but I have a question concerning my friend's boxer. She is only 9 months old and came in heat and got bred by their other dog (also a boxer). My thoughts are that she's too young but they're excited. Is this going to cause problems for the female later down the road? Or am I concerned for no reason?
