iwent to feed my chickens and my rooster found sum eggs and went broody he hatched them and one of the hens took over i dont now wat happened dose anyone know?????????

I've heard of a rooster hatching eggs. I guess the only drawback is that while he's doing that he's not fertilizing any other eggs. Congratulations!
He must have taken advice from Dr. Phil.
as i said the hen has now taken over but weird i didnt know that could happen
maybe he was just filling in so the hens couldn't accuse him of not doing any work around the house?
i think im going to keep an eye on him from now on
