GOOD NEWS! A frozen Brug is gonna LIVE!

Lodi, CA(Zone 9b)

I couldn't stand it.. I dug up my double seedling that was bleeding and the skin was wrinkling off the trunk and it was so mushy... I used the hose to clean off the roots so I could repot it.. and then I thought I dug up a bulb.. when I looked closer.... IT WAS A SUCKER! 2 in fact.. We have life! I was so excited I almost screamed! I didn't get a picture, I'm sorry.. but they were all white, and stuck to the side of the trunk under ground about 2"... What a sight for sore eyes! There is hope!!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

I am so happy or you. It would have been such a disappointment for you had you lost it. I am thinking of doing the same with one of my seedlings that froze. The seedling itself wasn't anything so special but it has good gene's and I wanted to keep it for hybernizing purposes.
