This morning I was trying to photograph a Steller's Jay, through the kitchen window. When, this Magpie suddenly landed three feet, in front of the camera! I only had time to snap one quick shot before he was gone.

Whatt a gorgeous magpie with the white snow flakes on his beek. :) I wish to have magpies around here, no such luck, to see them one have to travel beyond Mt Hood and prey ...LOL . Nice job Grasmussen !!
