How, in the world .. did you EVER manage to spot that wee lil bitty guy ?

If you'd've simply stuck to posting a 'size' - it prob'ly would not have registered with many of us .. just how very small (he) is!! An astounding find and an even more amazing shot!

I keep coming back to this particular photo and am just in awe of the size. Am very glad you posted the scale photo ..

I'm truly captivated with the variety of bugs you've found, spotted, and photographed over the years, DiOhio!! Jes amazed!!

HA HA ! Thanks Magpye ! I have eagle-eyes when it comes slug time every fall ! Since those buggars sting, you have to really be extra careful when looking, so every little bump and lump is examined. I just posted an even smaller guy, a one week old Spiny Oak slug. Now THAT was hard to see !

I really got started on bugs when I got my first digital camera that had a wonderful macro mode on it. I'd take pics of flowers and then once I got them on the computer I found little bugs that I had never noticed before. Digital opened up a whole new world. Every year I find new things. Isn't nature wonderful !
