I adopted her from the vets office where my daughter works.. This kitty was dropped off there. She is approximately a yr and half old, dilute calico long hair. I named her Citrine.
I now know why she was dropped off...
She is a kitty with some personality issues.. she is a cat who doesnt get on well with others and has alot of fear. Growls alot, (its gotten a wee bit better), etc. She has gotten used to me, but usually from a distance.
I have 4 other cats, 3 female, one male. The girls seem to have a problem with her. Actually one of them seems to 'stir the pot' so to speak.
I have FELIWAY here on 2 of three floors of my house. It has helped some.
Its been a wild time over the last 6 weeks. But, i see small progress. I hope that at least Citrine can live peacefully with the others. I dont expect miracles, tho. This is a cat who has purred only twice in a 6 week period.
I dont want to have to give her up to a rescue, i dont believe that many would want a cat with personality problems. She would probably be put down.
Any ideas or thoughts would be welcome.
