I heard on gw that David Senk lost this plant and is looking to get a leaf to continue hybridizing work he has been working on. Anyone grow this one?

Not me, sorry. : ) I had one Senk plant and it died. : (
I don't sorry. He lost another one I wanted real bad when he had his mites. Gosh forget the name It was very Special.
I had bought plants from him but had to wait 4-5 months to get them after paying over $100.00 for two but I waited. So he sent me free Parakeet, and Cascades, and Beanstalk, ( Beanstalks was my favorite and it came about 8 months after when it was ready it was so cute about the size of a nickle ) He sent a Rob's foliage Chimeria but it was so small it never made it. They were nickle size when I got them . Cascades leaves just were hard and crispy and fell off, I think it was Springtime Wasp did the same and I paid $53.00 for it. So he sent me a bunch of leaves :)) after this happened/
I treated all even thought he was mite free and each lived in their own little bags for months until I knew they were fine . They did not seem to mind. They were each in their only little zip lock and zipped up in one of my mini green houses. They were so small I hjave never taken them from Mom this small before so I think they liked their little warm homes ! Then I sold them and got my money back even.
It's sad he lost some of the most wonderous plants he hybridized which takes years to do and loads of talent which he has ! It's good when lot's of people are growing Vintage, rare, special plants , and share as many sets of leaves and babies you can and the next person shares and so on helps keep from losing a special variety and to me their all Special !

Can't he contact the AVSA and they'll post it in African Violet Magazine in their AVSA Most Wanted? Anyone who is a member of the AVSA receives this magazine and can check their collection. I have a couple of Senks, but not the one he's looking for.
