It's hard to tell in Todd's picture as it's so close but you sure have a nice plant growing Todd :))
Hmmm....I got it as Silver Skies but it is not a silvery as yours. Yet the leaf pattern on my 'Silver Skies' is slightly different on mine than my 'Chocolate Soldier'...plus the flowers on my 'Silver Skies' is deeper red-orange than on my' Chocolate Soldier'. Well, perhaps I have a NOID!
Todd they do Sport and also environment , light , temperatures can change foliage on them also
Todd,
Silver Skies is unmistakeably dissimilar to Chocolate Soldier. For one it is a miniature which CS is not. Also the coloring is very different with Silver Skies being very shimmery metallic silver unlike CS.
Oh well, it's not the first time plants are mislabeled unfortunately. While I'm writing to you, I just want to tell you how much I love all your orchids.
Snowrose
Whatever it is it is really beautiful Todd and I just love the pattern on the foliage : )
