Finally!!

Marlton, NJ

I've only seen him a few times and the visits are brief. But I was so happy to get a few pics of the Tufted Titmouse. I'll just post one; its not a great shot but a little better than I've been able to get in the past. Yippee, love these little guys!

Awww...lucky! :) Nice shot!

I get a lot of those here but I haven't gotten any pics... guess that is my next job.

They are tough to catch, I wish it had been brighter out so the pics would have been better.

Wonderful shot. Did the feeder close up on him, he looks very surprised! I see what looks like a Chickadee on the backside too, right?

Marlton, NJ

Yes, the feeder was closing because a Starling had landed on the opposite side. I had cropped him out of the photo. Heres the original. Good eyes Sheila! Yes a Dee on the back.

That is the feeder you or someone showed out on the thread I started about feeders I think. Would it close if it was just the Starling? Or is it the combination that made it work?

Marlton, NJ

I can adjust it to close completely with the Starlings weight alone but right now it closes about 3/4 of the way with his weight.

Oh, I didn't pick up on it being adjustable too, that may need to be ordered next month or so.
Thanks for your pics, and congrats on getting the Titmouse to stand still.

nice shot. They are a little skittish unlike the Chickadees
