I'm new! :)

Brick, NJ(Zone 7a)

Hi all! i found this page ..and so glad i did. i was searching the internet for spider plant clippings, or plants and found the north carolina farms site. (couldn't find spiderplants at any stores around) so anyway, found a link somewhere, and i'm here.

i saw rvnsbrk's post about clippings from Northcarolina farms, that she was disappointed with their size, but then i read her other posts and found she was quite happy with the outcome.

so anyway, i'm really finding this plant thing a great new hobby. i bought some ivys at lowes that were in good shape, and some other plants, i took clippings from the ivy and from a philadendran. ( my spelling, i'm sure is awful). i'm thinking about ordering some unrooted clippings from northcarolina farms, so i've been gathering jars to root them in. anyway, i hope to make some friends, gather advice, and maybe someday be able to give adivice as well.

so anyway... HI everyone!

Welcome, Stephanie....we're so glad you dropped in!

As to ordering from retail places...always check them out in our Garden Watchdog (see the top of your home page)....I did check out North Carolina Farms...and they have a clean slate...especially if our Mystic gives them the "thumbs Up". Here is a link to them

thanks jo - about NC farms, i posted some posts in the forum to see if anyone wanted to in on an unrooted cutting order. (NCfarms requires a purchase of at least 600 cuttings. :(

BOUQUETS and welcome to you sjonesartist! You'll have so much fun learning, growing and chatting about everything in and out of the garden. No question too small nor too complicated,.. always an answer waiting from the friendly gardeners at DG!

Stephanie! Welcome! Daves Garden is the ONLY website that I visit daily. I don't need any other site because DG has too much to keep me occupied.

I'm wondering if you are really an artist. We have an artisans forum that you might be interested in seeing...and contributing. Here's a link to it.

Welcome! I'm new too. I've found the Northeast Gardening forum to be a good resource. Perhaps you will too.
