This is Passiflora costaricacensis. I got a small cutting last oct and now the plant is huge and has tons of buds coming on.The flowers won't be huge but are a white with a colored corolla. Very fuzzy bat wing shaped leaves that get really big.
:-)
Something new and different..
Kyle,
Very cool. Is this plant similar to P. coriacea? I had that one years ago and it was remarkable primarily for it's bat-like foliage. The flowers, though very interesting, were rather small.
Thank you for sharing the picture.
Erick
Erick, the leaves are different then P. Coriacea. I will take a better pic on Weds. of the whole plant for you to see.
:-)
Kyle please post pictures as soon as those buds open. I did a google search and came up with nothing!!
Love those leaves!! Patiently waiting to see the flowers :o)
Kyle, that is a gorgeous plant. I really like the large, felted-looking leaves. A real showpiece - Congratulations!
Digging around online, I came across information on Passiflora costaricensis. Could that be the same as yours?
I, too, look forward to seeing pictures of the flowers.
Erick

Thanks For the correct spelling Eric now I know why I could not find anything on it. Kyle that is a georgeous plant all the same.
That is a most novel Passiflora; well grown, Kyle.
Could you add this species and your excellent pictures into PlantFiles, please? (For the betterment of the world and such)
