Hot Tea: How much loose tea to use?

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

On this rare freezing day here in Lakeway, Texas, I've been making hot tea...or trying! I'm so used to tea bags for iced tea, I've forgotten how to do loose tea!
I have a wonderful collection given to me by my daughter in little plastic baggies: Peach Green, Sencha Green, Black Currant, Earl Grey Green, Viking, Chrysanthemum, Jasmine, and Tropical Paradise Green Decaf! Do I use different amounts for different teas or all they all of the same strength?

There are no instructions! My little Japanese tea pot holds 2 cups of water and has the strainer in it for the loose tea! I do know not to place the tea pot on the burner. I heat the water in a kettle, then pour over the loose tea in the decorative pot.

Please answer soon, as I want tea tonight! :) However, I'm a teacher and school has just been cancelled again tomorrow, so I still want your input even if you're asleep and answer tomorrow. (I tried 2 pots and it tastes too strong!)
