Cute pictures Marilynbeth. I think they should have been called calico birds. Their colors remind me of a calico cat.

DH took this photo the morning in March 10, 2005.

Besides the Towhee, there are 2 Cardinals, 4 White Throated Sparrows and a Tree Sparrow (or, a Chipping Sparrow if they already arrived from their Winter grounds).

I'm not sure, Marilyn.....they may migrate thru...but I've never seen one. I need to do some research, lol... :)

We get the Towhees here - I think all year, but more in the winter (need to get my book out).
