I am supposed to have a lot of Asplenium trichomanes. I planted rhizomes, not sure if they will come up. I also have a single very small Asplenium varians. The latter is variable, not certain if it will remain a species. It is from China. Let me know later in the year if you want to try these.

HI, will put this on thread watch. Our great local nursery carries wide assortment of hardy ferns and I hope to see the catalog in a month or so. Their 2006 catalog carried it it the regular form and the variety Angustifolium...ruffled, tongue shaped. Both were listed at 6.50 plus 5 1/2% tax. We are in zone4/5.
They do not ship, but I could keep you posted and I am out there during the season and they will bring special orders up to the Farmers Market , if I call them
I am not sure the size of the fern pots. Most of their plants are in 4" , but some are 6" or 8 "( buddleia)
Winter made a brief stop about a month ago and we have been in the 40s since. Very unusual and will be changing ...tonight. Cold cold cold and then snowsnowsnow!!

Melissa, Is this what you are looking for? There are so many different Hearts (Harts) Tongue ferns out there. I think this is one of them and if you are interested I would be happy to share.

Do me a big favor and remind me of this in a few weeks Moretz. I will dig and pot up a section now so it can grow some roots before I send it off to you. This stuff sort of creeps along the top of the ground here. But, I will probably forget who I planted it for so please remind me.

I was just looking through a catalog and noticed a nice agastache. Do you have any? I have several but it seems there are many out there.

Or, just what do you have to spare in that greenhouse right now???? I am easy to tempt, with the exception of brugs (which I just can't grow) I have never met a plant I didn't like. They just have to be able to handle hot and muggy weather.

Edited to say ferns are potted up. :-)
