looking for an info website

Dauphin, PA

Is there a site, somewhere, that offers cultural information about various vegetable varieties? When I Google "Jade bean", for instance, I get links to a zillion places that sell that variety. What I'm looking for, instead, is information about disease resistance, days to maturity, whether a tomato variety is determinate or not, whether a particular squash ought to be harvested at 4" or 8" - all of the stuff one needs to know to do a good job with that variety in the garden.

Most catalogs have bits of this information but rarely does anyone have all of it. Any ideas where I might find a comprehensive data bank? I have a very diverse operation here and I need info for literally hundreds of varieties, so randomly looking at catalogs is not efficient.

Edited to add: Just realized I wasn't clear - I know of several sites, including, obviously, Dave's. I'm looking for suggestions about sites you've found helpful

thanks,
katie

katie, I usually get more useful info if I google on cultivation or growing, eg, "jade bean cultivation" or "how to grow jade bean". This usually brings up webpages from ag departments and universities with more detailed growing info.

Kati, When you post a search it is helpful to type it in like this ------- Jade Bean Seed.
