Looks like a jade plant (Crassula ovata). Or possibly another Crassula species, but it looks like that one.

No. That's not it. I guess I'd better take better pictures. The leaves are not as flat and not as rounded as the jade. I'll take better pics and post again later. Thank you!

Try looking at Graptopetalum paraguayense. There are a couple of sedums that look very similar also so you might want to look around them too. They both like a lot of light and little water--I've had some of mine get away from me and get to looking similar to yours when I gave them to much water in the winter. Bill

maybe you should try posting in the cactus and succulent forum for an id. I'm sure they can help you id that one.

Thanks for the advice Bill. It's possible I'm overwatering it. Still, I don't think its the ghost plant either. I'll try linking this post to the cacus and succulent forum. Thanks Staceysmom!

thanks sjones! It's a cute little plant. The leaves grow in a spiral. I took better pictures, I just have to find the time to post 'em.

Good morning, Sofonisba.
I have a plant similiar to yours (color is more gray then bright green).
Your plant is in the family Echeveria (succulent plant).
Go to Dave's (plant files) and type in ECHEVERIA.
You have a plant that is easy to grow and propogate from stem or leaf. Just don't over water.
Hope you find a good culture description.
Happy gardening!
My pic of ECHEVERIA Glauca (Hen & Chicks) So complicated to upload, for me. will try later, sorry.

Sudie, I think you're right. It's probably an Echeveria, but I couldn't find it anywhere in PlantFiles.

I think it is a Sedum, I have Echevieria, none of mine look like that or that color.
Crassula have leaves are opposites.
I have a feeling perhaps that you are not growing it in enough sun. I think with more sun the nodes would grow closer together, and the leaves would have more color.

I think then it would easier to ID. I'll trying to figure how to post pictures. Norma

Thanks Norma. Wish I had more sun. It's been so cloudy, I'm getting depressed. Can't wait to stick these guys outside for the summer. However, the plant is relatively new to my house. I just bought it in November from a nursery in New Hampshire. There's just not enough sky here in the east.

Darn. I was hoping you'd be able to identify this guy. You're like a star to me. :)

it looks like Sedum nussbaumerianum, check out some of the pics in the plant files.....certainly close. With more sun, this species develops bronzy zones at the leaf edges.

You know, it's funny, because I have a Sedum nussbaumerianum: http://davesgarden.com/journal/edit/showimage.php?eid=106452

When I went to look it up in PF, the photo of the new green seedling looked the most like my mystery plant. I didn't think it was the S. nussbaumerianum because it's skin is so smooth and the S. nuss. is kinda scabby. I wonder how this little seedling will look in time.

Thanks Dave!!
