How to plant geranium tuberosums

Hi all - i just realized I have 10 of these bulbs in the fridge (bought from B&B the last day of their spring bulb sale). I know how to plant bulbs (pointy side up), but these are just hard bumpy little things with "eyes" (at least they look like eyes) all over them. How do I plant them - anyone know?

This fall was my first experience with them too. Since they had eyes all over, I just dropped them in the holes and covered with about 3-4" of soil. We'll see!

If I'm not sure about things, I plant them on their side. Works well. Started doing this when I was waiting for cataract op.

Thanks inanda, but these didn't really have"sides", at least not noticeable ones.
Gemini_sage, you still there? I did what you did -- just dropped them in. Don't see anything yet, do you?
