Anyone know which Dieffenbachia?

Athens, OH

It was a Walmart special for $3.

Good price?

I found a webpage with images of some varieties, but I still don't know...

Oh what a great buy Rox! Our Wal-Mart has plants in that same size pot 2 for $7.00, but all they have are Croton's! Our Wal-Mart's (all 3 locally) don't ever carry much in the way of houseplants at all. I have been saying for weeks that they are shipping all the good stuff up north!!

I have no idea which Diff it is, but it is really nice!

Perhaps I should pick more up for trades? Anyone interested? I would like to try other dieffenbachia or EE I don't have.

My money is on "sparkles".

I have this one, too, RM....also got it at WM a while back.

Of course, no ID, and I thought I had it ID'd at one time, but none of the above names sounds at all familiar.
Sparkles does 'ring a bell', though, Scott, and the one pictured does look like yours, Rox?!

I just mentioned on another Dieff thread that it seems that different suppliers seem to be using different names for similar plants and it's getting really difficult to figure out which Dieff is which!

I think it does look a lot like Sparkles. Thanks to everyone, especially Scott, for helping with the tentative ID.

Nan, tropicman - does your WM dieff have white to VERY light light green stems too?

Hmm...I'll check that when I get home, Rox and let you know tomorrow....will try to get a photo too so we can compare.
