Pic's of camouflaged a/c units

Metro DC, MD(Zone 7a)

Okay, I'm going to get round to landscaping the side yard of our fixer-upper this year. The area is extremely narrow (4 ft. wide?) and there is an ugly A/C unit which currently is a focal point. I need to come up with a decorative trellis and/or plant design to hide the A/C and would love to see photos of what you have done with yours. I'll attach a few photos taken earlier today.

This first one is shot from the back yard looking towards the front of the house. As you can see, the entire space including the house and addition need work. There is a sweet autumn clematis planted on the arched fence near the front gate, and an evergreen clematis on the fence a few feet back from where photo was shot from. Eventually, there will be vines covering that fence.
