Saturday's Water hole

Of course it's absolutlely gorgeous today and I'm at work! As usual. But I did go to the barn party this afternoon.... it was really neat.

The owner of the barn got up after we'd done the white elephant exchange and said, "It has come to my attention that one of the members of the Jamieson Equicenter family has gotten married." We were all looking around, completely shocked that we had no idea someone had gotten married. He asked, "Can I get the blushing bride to come join me here?" He asked this twice before his girlfriend of 16 years stood up. They announced that they'd wed yesterday! It was SUCH a sweet surprise! Everyone just screamed and cried! She's a law professor and quite the feminist and I had just assumed they didn't believe in that kind of thing. Sigh.

Anyway. It was really nice. Do you want to see the finished barn calendar?
