I posted some cuttings from my Brug, for postage (see my posting Jan. 5th). It apparently is a Frosted Pink.
I got a large response - more requests than I have cuttings. I hate to say no to anybody.
I would like to trade some of these plants for cuttings, for the people who asked for them.
The plants are Vanilla Perilla Magillas. They're new, and not readily available to the public. They grow in sun or shade, but it seems they prefer sun.
I have some growing in my greenhouse. I also grew a couple in my living room, to see how they would do inside, and they're doing fine.
They're not quite as robust as the ones in the picture, because it's winter (yes, we do have a winter here in FLA). Once the warm weather comes, they'll take off. They're extremely easy to propagate.
If you're willing to send a cutting or two to the DGers who asked for them, I'll provide you with the names (there are 2 people), and I'll send you a couple of these plants. You can ask the sendee for postage for the cuttings, and I'll pay the postage for the Vanillas.
