I just read the thread on variegated brugs. I had no idea there are variegated. Then I see they can grow in shade - then I see the wonderful person that was posting lives in Southern California. It sounds like 'Snowbank' and 'Maya.' might be the perfect brugs for me. So if anyone has any cuttings for postage - you would make me a very happy girl. I just love DG. I learn so much.
PS - I posted in the plant trading section too (just in case)

Sherri,
I don't know if you have an idea on how to flag a post that you want to remember later , but this is what I do... Send yourself a d-mail with a link to this thread. Then file the d-mail in a folder with a name like "Trades for Spring"

Sherri-I have heard that Snowbank does'nt perform all that well. It is for sell at McClure and Zimmerman. Miner's Claim is listed for sale in Select Seeds 2007 catalouge. But that is another that has not gotten rave reviews. Peaches and Cream never did much when I grew it and I gave it away. Maya has done very well for me and I think there are some others that perform nicely but I have not grown them.

That is great information. I went to my local nursery and they didnt have the Snowbank - not really the right time of year. I will focus more on the Maya now. It is just as beautiful.
Carol - thank you so much for that advice. I was wondering how I could remind myself. I will do it right now.
