Where's the flamingo's?????

Anybody got any Flamingo shots? Since it been warm down here folks are putting their plastic pink ones backout in the yard. I haven't seen a real one since I was a kid going to the Clevland zoo every month. Was always fastinated with them. Always wondered how they could manage to stand on one leg for so long.

Saw some in Morocco last April, but didn't get any pics (they were a bit too distant).

The nearest place to you that gets them is southern Florida (where they're rare), or more regularly, the southern Bahamas.

The ones in zoos don't count, they might as well be plastic (probably are :-)

Fractious Flamingos. They seem to always be fussing amongst themselves

Alrghty !!!!!! Flamingo's!!!! I didn't know that they were becoming rare. No wonder you don't see them anymore. Ya gott a love them long legs. : )

LOL.. Resin they may have had some of the plastic ones in there to make it look like there was alot of them. Wouldn't doubt it.

Floridian.. Have to agree. Very beautiful pics. I love the colors in thes e birds and they way the beaks and heads make that "s" shape to them. Thank you for posting some pics of them. : ) Your pics definately better than what I remember as a kid in the zoo and definately beats the plastic ones.
