My son got a Boston Terrier pup on the 22nd of December. He has papers and a check up from the vet of the woman we bought him from. A couple days after my son brought him home he noticed a little blood on his butt after he went to the bathroom. He doesn't seem to have blood in the stool just his little butt. My son took him to the vet the day after Christmas and they ran test and everything came back negative. They said it could just be the stress of moving to a new home :( and gave him a bland diet for the next 10 days. Today he took him back for follow up shots and mentioned that he still sees blood every once in a while. The vet held off on shots and said to bring him back next week for a more thorough exam to the tune of $340.00. The visit last week was $100. My son is a college student and not prepared for all of this :( Of course I'm helping out. My question is have any of you seen this before? The pup is crazy rambunxious & happy. He doesn't act like he's sick at all. My son is very worried :(
