DonnaB: what a great variety you have there! I love goldfinches but we haven't had as many as we normally do this year. Since you have ibis, thought you'd like to see this pic I took a few months ago at the marsh not far from here. It was real early in the morning and there were about 25 of them on this one long railing.

Great pictures both of you!! I think the Cedar Waxwing is my favorite bird of all. Unfortunately we don't always get them. I can hear them in the neighborhood sometimes and see them in their flocks flying. This shot was of a small pond that we were trying to keep leaves out of. We had just put it in that year. They were bathing and drinking and swapping places like crazy, it was hard to get a good picture.

Great beautiful photos everyone!

Here's an Ibis DH took when we were at the Suncoast Seabird Santuary in FL last January. He was a 'visiting' one.

M & B, Those "visitors" may be trying to figure out a way to move in there. I bet it looks like a nice place to live to them.

I LOVE the Waxwings too! Any advice on winter berry bushes that they like would be appreciated.
