Hi, I'm looking for a fun place to stay in Portland, preferrably where I can walk to some fun shopping or activity and also not too expensive. Hotel, motel, inn, etc.

http://www.bluepluminn.com/ this is a B & B close to The Lloyd Center and the shopping on NE Broadway. And catch a bus to downtown. I think it would be fun to stay in a B & B.
My husband and I once stayed at The White House B&B. Took public transportation to everywhere!
I have heard about The White House B & B. was the food great?
As a foodie, I don't think I've ever had a BAD breakfast at a B &B!
