Last spring, a bonus bulb gift, came with the order, and good friends on DG bulb forum told me what I had, "peacock lily". Now I just dug the bulbs out of the barrel half, and there is little bulbs around them.Do I plant the bulbs complete, or do you take off the little ones, and do something with them seperate?? I know this is probally elementry to most of you, but I lack expereance. Thank you so much. Mike
acidanthera bulb question
I put the "babies" into a pot of their own to mature - or I just plant them out in the yard. They can be replanted with the parent bulb. They will likely only make foliage for a year or two before flowering.
Hey!!,like your handle, PotUmUp, and thanks for the advice. So these will become bulbs in a couple of years,so it won't matter if I plant them at random, among the parent bulbs.Thats what I was hoping for, and thank you ever so much. Mike
