Help !!!!! wireless g-band problem

Weez and I bought ourselves new (referbished) computers for Christmas. Bought them from tigerdirect.com .

Weez's PC is working great, Im having problems with my lap top (Gateway-MX6421 notebook.) Installed a linksys g-band wireless router.
Could take the laptop all over the place and use the web. Until about 4 nights ago.
Pulled out the lap top to check a web site I saw on TV and could'nt connect to the net. Try all the wizzard prompts without any luck.
Since this is a referbished unit I received no software or recovery discs. Called the tech support at linksys/cisco and he walk me through
the wireless system built into my lap top.
When all was said and done, he deceided I needed to relaod the drivers for the system. Called tigerdirect and was told I could get the down load
free on the net , when I did a google search for down loads it was like getting hit by a tidal wave.....HELP !!!!
