Well,I got tired of waiting on hub's to build me a light bench so I I got this shelf out of my craft room and swiped a couple of his light fixtures and rigged up a light bench my darn self.

Works for me! LOL ..... wish my DH had some shop lights I could swipe! I need to go to Wal-Mart and get a couple more for my stand!

The fixtures are too long for the shelf but at least I can hang baskets off the ends. Need two more fixtures for the bottom two shelves.

Very nice job, I'm impressed. I am not creative or craft at all and would never have done that on my own. I guess if I had lighting fixtures around I could have rigged it up. Nice job, you plants will probably be very happy on their new stand.
Way to go BigRed...proud of you. My husband initially helped me hang some lights in the basement over some long tables, then I put a fixture under each table myself. I thought why waste the space! I found a nice long white table at Sam's that works great as it's durable plastic of some sort and easy to clean. Your plants are going to love the lights. Have fun...

I was having some serious space issues or lack thereof so when I clocked myself in the head on a hanging basket of sweet potato vine,I knew it was time to do some organizing and that required more room....especially after I got the last of my seed sewn episcias potted up. Some of my babies from Lyndon Lyon leaves were rotting in their pots so I had to seperate and pot up their potmates prematurely so they didn't rot too and that meant even more pots for them and I restruck the mother leaves too.
I placed my order with Belisle's(30 new leaves and 15 rooted episcias),making my list for Violet Gallery(count is at 35 var.x2=70 leaves),Reeds Greenhouse(30 leaves) plus there's quite a few on my master list that I haven't found yet. By spring I'll be back to dealing with more space issues which means hub's not off the hook for building another light bench,I just needed something NOW!
