It's been a long time since I've posted....and a lot has happened at the Bock household.
Most of you know that in January of 2007 we lost our Heidi girl to diabetes complications (congestive heart failure). That was extremely hard for me and in fact was much worse than I ever imagined. Because she was so dependent on me and I was her true companion, I took it quite hard. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/572077/
So almost 9 mths to the day, we lost our Tooie boy. He had suffered several years with chronic renal failure and quite suddenly as is generally the way with these types of cats, the old kidneys finally gave out. It was extremely hard as well as we'd had him all of his 17 years of life - and we were leaving for vacation two days after we had to have him put to sleep. Needless to say - it's been sad here for a while. Here's an old picture of Tooie. He weighed less than 5 lbs when he died.
