Pipevine Swallowtail (Battus philenor)
Thanks. I did not have as many of the pipevine butterflies visiting this year as I have in years past. The neighbors' cats killed a lot of them last year. I do not have any larval hosts in my yard. I'll have to plant some inside my fence. I hope you have many pipevine swallowtail offspring growing up in your yard. They are so beautiful. That is a gorgeous photo with the blues of the butterfly and the blues of the flowers. Thanks for your comments and for sharing your photo.
