Stunning shot Hazel!

I have one of thier Caterpillar host plants now heeled into my backyard beds (Aristolochia Macrophylla) Hoping to see much more of them in 2007! Before now they have only visited to nectar, now we will have a family!

Thanks. I did not have as many of the pipevine butterflies visiting this year as I have in years past. The neighbors' cats killed a lot of them last year. I do not have any larval hosts in my yard. I'll have to plant some inside my fence. I hope you have many pipevine swallowtail offspring growing up in your yard. They are so beautiful. That is a gorgeous photo with the blues of the butterfly and the blues of the flowers. Thanks for your comments and for sharing your photo.
