My Daughter has a patch of black bamboo which has some green culms mixed in, this in Victoria where I planted lilies today.
"Green threads amongst the black ..... Some are strong enough to use for tall lilies. Is that OK or is it like a rose graft being planted too deeply so you get wild rose growing shoots, unless you cut them off?
Thought we had a bamboo area on DG but it must be the competition. Hope somebody knows the answer to this.
