Does anyone in the DFW metroplex have an abundance of those black nursery pots (1-5 gallons) that you need to get rid of? :-)
Plastic Nursery Pots
Anybody?
hiya trunnels! My local extension office has a greenhouse and invariably there are a gazillion black pots, of all sizes, available. If you live close to yours, perhaps you can ck them out and get some. A nursery where you are a regular customer might also accommodate you.
Another place is your recycle center, if you live near to yours.
Thanks, Nery. I have tried my local nurseries and they won't have any until the spring. I'll check on the local extension office. I don't even know where out recycle center is but I'll sure check!
Terrie, I do!! It's funny I came across your message. One of the many tasks on my list today is to do something with the pile of black nursery pots that I piled on the trampoline before we left Saturday morning. I did not want to put them back on the trailer and their are just too many to save. I have at least 30 one gallon pots and a few larger ones. Let me know if you want them and we can work something out. I took today and tomorrow off. If you aren't in training during the day and want to come up here and pick them up I'll be here. :) I'll D-mail you my cell number because I probably won't be back on the computer much.
Staci,
I saw your email and responded before I saw this thread. :-) If you still have them I can probably come up this weekend to take them off your hands!
I have quite a few pots of various sizes over in Grapevine that I have been meaning to clean out of my shed. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of pots in an environmentally friendly way?
Dennis
plant in them?
I should have said that the pots are the black plastic nursery pots, so they are not the most attractive. :)
I'm searching for twenty-five 4" clay pots. Anybody know where I can get them cheap?
Garden Ridge would have them fairly cheap I bet.
Thanks, Sheila.
dfwdennis, ck w/some of your wholesale growers, up there. I work for one & we are always needing pot for production. We give pot credit & customers use it for plants. Just a thought. :~)
