Wow!!

Venice, FL(Zone 9b)

Beautiful photo. The flowers look gorgeous! I had a red royal poinciana tree in my yard in Bradenton, FL. I moved to Venice, and about a year ago, a tree suddenly began growing in the yard from a very large, half-buried root that I thought was from a nearby jacaranda. I was surprised when it bloomed this year and turned out to be a yellow poinciana, with completely different flower size and shape than the royal. Also, the seed pods are different. This white one has the same flowers in a spire like my yellow one.

I do not think "elainemr's" is a Poinciana. It looks more like a Cassia species.
Here is a picture of a dark yellow Delonix regia taken here in Trinidad. Various shades of yellow are quite common here and an orange can be seen occasionally.
I have a picture to send, but it will not go. Help please.

I'll try to send photo again.
Still will not work! Is it too large (2.4 MB)?
