Fun things to do in Dallas

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

A friend's sister-in-law and her husband are going to be in Dallas for a Cowboys game on New Year's Eve. Does anyone there have any other suggestions for fun things for them to do/go/see? They are going to be there from Friday night until Monday morning.

Fun things to do in Dallas/Ft Worth

Dallas Aquarium, Arboretum, Dallas Zoo, Fortworth Zoo, Southfork Ranch, JFK museum, Nasher Museum, Kimball Art Museum, Dallas Museum of Art, Fair Park, Sundance Square, Stockyards, Dallas Love Field airport museum, The Galleria, Northpark. Sonny Bryans on Innwood, restaurants, Six flags, IMAX theaters. Body Works is showing at Fair Park at the moment. Dinosaur Live is showing the Heard Museum in McKinney.

If they had lots of spare time, Fossil Rim in Glenrose or a trip to Granbury would be fun.

I realize that some of the above are a stretch, but Dallas is lacking in the big attraction department. On a tight schedule, I usually take out of towners to the JFK museum, then to Sonny Bryans, then to Southfork ranch. This trip takes a full day.

If they enjoy shopping and restaurants (like some of my relatives), Dallas is world class.
If it doesn't rain tomorrow, they would be able to rent clubs and play golf. Lots of good golf courses in Dallas.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Fort Worth is just to the west of Dallas, so here is the Convention and Visitor's website for my town. Depending on what your interest are, you may find something here. http://www.fortworth.com/
