I was told Poinsetta would not survive all year, and you had to put them in dark place, well my Granddaugthter gave me a small one for the pot last year (the plant was about dead) I watered it, gave it MG every week, and kept it in my plant room, and look at it now, It's branches were too heavy to stand up, but I love it like this.
Poinstta from last year
Oh my, but you've done good!!
They'll certainly 'survive' with proper care, but it's getting those bracts to turn red that's tough to do, even when one tries *really* hard!
It's fabulous! How rewarding for you!
We plant ours in the ground and they grow tall and bushy I love growing them !
Na here once the nights start getting longer and cooler they turn red , ( around Oct, by Thanksgiving people think their fake !!) or pink or white and pink depending on the colors. We can keep them in the ground year round !
Allison...you quit rubbin' it in!!! LOL!! (Ü)
You've got to post a photo sometime!
