I've used Bayer Advanced Tree and Shrub as a hose end spray and soil drench for scale.When using it as a spray 1/2 Tb.per gal. As a drench 1 Tb. per gal. It's a systemic. Hope this helps. Read and ask as much as you can about scale insects and insecticides.
